When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,

1. கடந்த நாட்களில் கைவிடாமலே
கண்ணின் மணிபோல் காத்ததினால்
மனப்பூர்வமாய் துதிப்பேன் மகிழ்வுடனே
மன்னன் கிறிஸ்தேசுவையே

2. அழைத்த பாதையில் தளர்ந்த வேளையில்
அன்பின் மொழியால் பேசினாரே
புது ஜீவனும் நிறைவாய் அளித்ததினால்
புண்ணியனைப் போற்றிடுவேன்

3. வறுமை வியாதியின் வலிய தோல்வியும்
வந்த வேளையில் தாங்கினாரே
ஜெய கீதமே தினமும் எவ்வேளையிலும்
ஜெயத்துடன் பாடிடுவேன்

4. நெகிழ்ந்த கரங்களை உயிர்த்து இதுவரை
இழந்த வரங்களும் ஈந்ததினால்
அவர் சேவையை புரிந்து கனம் மகிமை
அவருக்கே செலுத்திடுவேன்

5. நிறைந்த ஜோதியாய் திறந்த வானிலே
நீதி சூரியன் தோன்றிடுவார்
மறு ரூபமே அடைந்தே பறந்திடுவேன்
மட்டற்ற பேரின்பமுடன்

ஆதரை மீதினில் அலைந்திடுவாயே
காணாத ஆட்டைத் தேடி வந்த மேய்ப்பர்

தற்பரன் தயவை தள்ளிடலாமா
நினையாத நேரம் மரணம் சந்தித்தால்
நித்தியத்தை எங்கு நீ கழிப்பாய் — வாசலண்டை

3. பாவத்தினால் சாப ரோகத்தால் தொய்ந்து
மாயையில் ஆழ்ந்து மடிந்திடுவானேன்
பாவத்தைப் போக்கிடும் தூய உதிரத்தின்
ஜீவ ஊற்றில் மூழ்கி மீட்புறாயோ — வாசலண்டை

4. மனம் மாறி மறுபடி பிறந்திடாயாகில்
மகிபரின் இராஜ்ஜியம் காணக் கூடுமோ
பிறந்தாலோ ஜலத்தாலும் ஆவியாலும் மெய்யாய்
பிரவேசிப்பாய் தேவ இராஜ்ஜியத்தில் — வாசலண்டை
