Praise To The Lord

1. Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation All ye who hear, Brothers and sisters draw near Praise Him in glad adoration 2. Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee; Ponder anew what the Almighty can do, If with His love He befriend thee. 3. Praise to the Lord, who, when tempests their warfare are waging, Who, when the elements madly around thee are raging, Biddeth them cease, Turneth their fury to peace, Whirlwinds and waters assuaging. 4. Praise to the Lord, who, when darkness and sin are abounding, Who, when the godless do triumph, all virtue confounding, Sheddeth His light, Chaseth the horrors of night, Saints with His mercy surrounding. 5. Praise to the Lord, oh, let all that is in me adore Him All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him Let the Amen sound from His people again, Gladly for aye we adore Him.

Standing On The Promises

1. Standing on the promises of Christ my king through eternal ages let his praises ring glory in the highest, I will shout and sing, standing on the promises of God. Standing, standing, standing on the promises of God my Savior standing, standing, I’m standing on the promises of God. 2. Standing on the promises that cannot fail, when the howling storms of doubt and fear assail, by the living Word of God I shall prevail, standing on the promises of God 3. Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord bound to him eternally by love’s strong cord, overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword standing on the promises of God. 4. Standing on the promises I cannot fall, listening every moment to the Spirit’s call, resting in my Savior as my all in all, standing on the promises of God.

What a friend we have in Jesus

1. What a friend we have in Jesus All our sins and griefs to bear What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer Oh, what peace we often forfeit Oh, what needless pain we bear All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer 2. Have we trials and temptations Is there trouble any where We should never be discouraged Take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share Jesus knows our every weakness Take it to the Lord in prayer 3. Are we weak and heavy laden Cumbered with a load of care Precious Savior, still our refuge Take it to the Lord in prayer Do your friends despise, forsake you Take it to the Lord in prayer In his arms he’ll take and shield you You will find a solace there.

Jerusalem my happy home

1. Jerusalem, my happy home, name ever dear to me, when shall my labors have an end, thy joys when shall I see 2. When shall these eyes thy heaven-built walls and pearly gates behold, thy bulwarks with salvation strong, and streets of shining gold 3. Apostles, martyrs, prophets, there around my Savior stand; and all I love in Christ below will join the glorious band. 4 Jerusalem, my happy home, when shall I come to thee? When shall my labors have an end, thy joys when shall I see 5 O Christ, do thou my soul prepare for that bright home of love that I may see thee and adore, with all thy saints above.

Have You Been To Jesus For The Cleansing Power

1. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb Are you washed in the blood, In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb Are your garments spotless Are they white as snow Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb 2. Are you walking daily by the Savior's side Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb Do you rest each moment in the Crucified Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb 3. When the Bridegroom comet will your robes be white Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright And be washed in the blood of the Lamb 4. Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin, And be washed in the blood of the Lamb There's a fountain flowing for the soul unclean, O be washed in the blood of the Lamb

When All Thy Mercies

1. When all thy mercies O my God my rising soul surveys transported with the view I'm lost in wonder, love, and praise 2. Unnumbered comforts to my soul thy tender care bestowed before my infant heart conceived from whom those comforts flowed. 3. When worn with sickness, oft hast thou with health renewed my face and when in sins and sorrows sunk revived my soul with grace. 4. Ten thousand thousand precious gifts my daily thanks employ nor is the last a cheerful heart that tastes those gifts with joy. 5. Through every period of my life thy goodness I'll pursue and after death, in distant worlds, the glorious theme renew. 6. Through all eternity to thee a joyful song I'll raise for oh, eternity's too short to utter all your praise.
